Swami Paramananda, of Ramakrishna Order, born on February 5, 1884, was one of the early Indian teachers who went to United States to spread the Vedanta philosophy and the Hindu religion in America. He was a disciple of  the famous Swami Vivekananda. He was a mystic, a poet, and a God-man. His life was a glowing example of the all-conquering nature of Love.
